The town of Peshtera is located at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains, in the picturesque Peshtera Valley cut by the Stara Reka River, 20 km from Pazardzhik, 40 km from Plovdiv, and 125 km from Sofia. You can reach the town by car, by bus from Pazardzhik or Plovdiv, and by train from Plovdiv to Peshtera.
